Anyone that has experienced windsurfing either quits because it was too frustrating and difficult, or becomes completely hooked by it. The ones hooked in windsurfing can pinpoint the reason to one event: the moment that board rushed over the water, the feeling of the power of the sail balanced and all completed in an relatively effortless action. Balanced Power in technical terms is achieved when the center of effort of the sail is positioned over the centerline of the board, directly over the center of lateral resistance of the board.
