Catch all the action from the PWA wavesailing contest at Ho'okipa, Maui. Held in March 2004, this was the first wavesailing contest at Ho'okipa in several years, and epic conditions welcomed the return of competition. The waves, wind, and level of sailing improved with every heat all the way through to the finals, which featured a Hollywood type showdown between Josh Angulo, last year's overall PWA wavesailing champion, and former PWA wave champion Jason Polakow.
The finals alone make this video, but there's plenty of other wave action from the trials, and men and women's single and double elimination rounds. One thing that is obvious - there were no easy heats in this contest.
